DL E&C conducted a volunteer program ‘Love Sharing Briquette’ to celebrate the end of the year.
-About 100 employees and their family members visited Gaemi Village to deliver briquettes and donate rice to the underprivileged.
-Carried out various social contribution activities for coexistence with the local community
DL E&C announced on the 21st that about 100 employees and their family members recently visited Gaemi Village in Hongje-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul to conduct a volunteer program ‘Love Sharing Briquette’.
DL E&C has been conducting ‘briquette volunteer activities’ at the end of each year, with its employees directly participating to help the needy get through winter.
DL E&C employees and their family members delivered pre-prepared briquettes to the residents of Gaemi Village this year, sharing warmth directly with the community. They also delivered additional rice to some residents.
Kim Seong-Ha, a deputy manager of DL E&C, who participated in the volunteer activity that day, said, “I was happy to be able to help the underprivileged neighbors around us spend the warmer winter.”
DL E&C has consistently carried out various social contribution activities in which its employees can participate directly in order to coexist with the local community. All executives and employees are voluntarily participating in various activities, including supporting the production of Braille books for the visually impaired, activities for repairing ‘Home of Hope’ and sharing hope for the underprivileged, environmental cleanup activities, making ‘bread of love’ and reducing carbon footprints.
