 DL E&C becomes the first Korean construction company to win the Red Dot Award in the category of ‘Brand Guidelines & Design Strategy’.

‘Our Creed’, the brand guidelines of DL E&C’s housing brands, ‘ACRO’ and ‘e-Pyeonhansesang’

DL E&C announced on the 3rd that it has become the first Korean construction company to win the main prize of ‘2023 Red Dot Award’ in the category of ‘Brand Guidelines & Design Strategy’.
 
The Red Dot Design Award is a design award ceremony hosted by Design Zentrum Nordhein Westfalen in German. It is considered as one of the world’s top three design award, along with ‘iF Design Award’ in Germany and ‘IDEA Design Award’ in the US.
 
DL E&C was honored with award for unveiling ‘Our Creed’, the brand guidelines for housing brand ‘ACRO’ and ‘e-Pyeonhansesang’, for the first time at this year’s Red Dot Design Award. ‘Our Creed’ goes beyond simple brand guidelines and connotes the ‘brief’ that everyone involved with the two brands must uphold. These guidelines are designed to deliver consistent messages and visual elements to customer across all brand touchpoints. It contains a whopping 3,562 extensive contents, ranging from branding philosophy and design strategy to detailed design guidelines, including landscaping, signage and community facility design.  
 
‘Our Creed’ was designed with the ‘Cube’ concept, which reflects a rigorous approach to brand management. Black and orange used as the main colors symbolize the two residential brands, ACRO and e-Pyeonhansesang. It also won the main prize in the category of Brand Guidelines & Design Strategy, which was well-received by the jury for its luxurious expression of the design aesthetics of ACRO and e-Pyeonhansesang, based on innovative design, functionality and sustainability. 
 
This is the first time that a Korean construction company has won the main prize in the category of brand guidelines & design strategy at the Red Dot Design Award. DL E&C will continue to strive to not only solidify its position as the best housing brand in Korea, but also to provide a better life for its customers as a brand that meets world-class standards.
