DL E&C increases record-keeping system for construction video.

DL E&C revealed on the 21st that it will expand the system for recording and keeping the on-site construction process by means of video to all sites in Korea in order to ensure quality control and to prevent safety accidents. This means that DL E&C will actively participate in expanding the video record-keeping system, which is being implemented at public construction sites worth more than KRW10 billion, as the Seoul Metropolitan Government declares a war against poor construction.
In 2022, DL E&C has introduced ‘D. Vision’, a site management solution utilizing AI-based computer vision technology and a 360-degree camera, to some domestic apartment projects for the first time in Korea. It is a policy to more thoroughly secure the situation and work details before and after construction by strengthening ‘D. Vison’ as well as recoding and managing on-site processes by means of video. The Company is also utilizing a smart system at apartment construction sites to control construction quality using photos taken by drones and checked by AI.
DL E&C is pushing forward quality management throughout the company, and is conducting defect zero activities at the head office and all sites. It is expected that a higher safety and quality management system will be built by the expanded application of the video record-keeping system to the sites.
