DL E&C and Carbonco have signed a joint business agreement to promote eco-friendly hydrogen economy activation ' with the south Australian state government It revealed on the 17th.
 
On the 13th, the signing ceremony held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Jongno-gu, Seoul, was attended by Peter Malinauskas, Prime Minister of South Australia, CEO Chang-min Ma of DL E&C, and Jae-hyung Yoo, head of business development at Carbonco.
 
DL E&C and Carbonco, the South Australian state government, joined hands to accelerate the development of an eco-friendly hydrogen economy in the South Australian region. The two sides will △exchange equipment and expertise for the production of eco-friendly hydrogen and derivatives △secure global competitiveness through strategic partnership development △conduct research partnerships and projects to accelerate decarbonization △develop the domestic market by establishing eco-friendly hydrogen supply and utilization infrastructure decided to jointly pursue
 
Previously, the South Australian state government announced a plan to produce 100% renewable energy by 2030 with the goal of becoming a world-class eco-friendly hydrogen supply source. To achieve this goal, it plans to push forward with laws related to accelerating the eco-friendly hydrogen economy.
 
DL E&C is recognized for its differentiated competitiveness in the field of hydrogen and ammonia business through the EPC performance of multiple hydrogen production plants at home and abroad. Based on this, DL E&C and Carbonco will actively participate in the production and infrastructure construction business of eco-friendly hydrogen and derivatives in cooperation with the South Australian state government.
 
An official from DL E&C said, “Through this cooperation, we plan to expand our business worldwide by establishing a decarbonization and eco-friendly hydrogen business model necessary to solve the problem of climate change.” As the main axis, we will quickly strengthen new businesses such as carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) to become a global eco-friendly company.”
 
Meanwhile, DL E&C established a professional company carbonco to expand the eco-friendly decarbonization business last August. Carbonco carries out CCUS and eco-friendly hydrogen projects.
