DL E&C Holds Tailored Family Event During Family Month
A DL E&C employee and his family are enjoying an art picnic

DL E&C disclosed on the 16th that it held various events so that its employees can spend valuable time with their families on the occasion of Family Month in May. DL E&C held tailored events considering the varieties of family composition type such as employees living with parents, those living with children, and those working overseas.
DL E&C held an Art Picnic event in D Museum and Seoul Forest in Seongdong-gu, Seoul during the last weekend for employees with children in elementary school. Art Picnic had the employees’ families tour the D Museum exhibitions, participate in the educational program, and enjoy a picnic in Seoul Forest.
A total of 60 DL E&C employees and their families watched “Anyhow, Love: Romantic Days” exhibition under the theme of love in D Museum. They then participated in D Museum’s leading educational program “Kids’ Workroom: Animation Project” and produced 2D animation with family stories using a moving projector added with science and the principle of movement. They also enjoyed a pleasant picnic by moving to Seoul Forest nearby and carrying a picnic mat as well as the pre-prepared D Museum art product and snacks with them.
DL E&C delivered a lamb chop meal kit including wine to the parents of employees working overseas as well as their letters. Although the overseas working employees could not cook themselves, their heart of wishing to treat their parents to a delicious meal was reflected.
The company sent mock test paper consisting of questions through which family members can mutually understand, floral basket, and meal kit to each home so that they can spend a happy time. DL E&C also offered a program wherein the employees can make a mug along with their children or spouse.
“We have operated family-friendly programs performed in a contactless method for the last two years, but we are using both contactless and contact methods this time. We will shape a family-friendly working environment by operating various programs for our employees,” a source at DL E&C remarked.
