Received an Order for Oil-refining Plants in the Philippines
Daelim Industrial Co. Ltd. announced that it solely received an order for oil-refining plant projects worth US$318 million in the Philippines on April 8, 2011. This project, which was ordered from Petron Corporation, is to rebuild and expand existing oil-refining facilities that had produced gasoline and diesel in Limay, Battan peninsula, about 150 kilo meters southwest of Manila. Upon the completion, the production capacity will be greatly increased and high value-added products will be also produced through modernized facilities. Daelim received the NTP (Notice to Proceed) for detailed design & engineering, procurement service and offshore procurement, and the main contract will be concluded on a lump-sum turnkey base project in the near future.
