Won the world’s largest single tower suspension bridge project

Daelim was selected as a main contractor of the turn-key based project for constructing the Gogunsan State Road linking road (Section 2) ordered by the Iksan Regional Construction Management Administration of the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs.
This project is to construct a bridge with a total length of 1,292 kilo meters to link Sinsi Island in Okdo-myun, Gunsan City, Jeollabuk-do and includes a suspension bridge with a length of 400 meters and two approach bridges. The suspension bridge will be constructed with a single main tower for the first time in Korea, which will boast the world’s largest among the same structure bridges.
Eventually, Daelim was recognized for its unparalleled technology in constructing bridges by designing and introducing Korea’s first single main tower suspension bridge, comparing with competitors who proposed existing suspension bridges with two main towers.
