Won an order for civil works worth of US$500 million in Singapore

Daelim won an order for the construction of underground expressway worth of US$500 million in Singapore. Daelim received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Land Transport Authority (LTA), a statutory board under Singaporean Ministry of Transport, and the formal contract was made on October 15, 2008. Daelim will take an 83.6% share of the project which is to be carried out jointly with Japan-based Sato Kogyo (S) Pte. Ltd.
This project involves the construction of a two-way, 10-lane underground expressway in Marina Bay area located in Singapore’s southeast region to be developed as a landmark tourism and business complex. Daelim will implement the design and construction of Section C-487 with a total length of 700m (total branch & main routes: 4,125m). This project is to be completed in June 2013.
