The Singaporean TTP1 site held on August 3 the completion ceremony of Caisson 221 structure construction, which is a main process. Daelim Vice President Yun Tae-seop, Daelim Managing Director Kim Min-soo, Director Tham Wah of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (client) HQ, SJC (Construction Supervision Company) President Loh Yan Hui, DIAP (co-contractor) Branch Manager Daniel Kong, and others attended the ceremony.

The weight of the completed Caisson structure 221 is 15,000 tons, and it is equivalent to a 12-story building in height. Caisson is a ferroconcrete structure supporting the base of a bridge pier or breakwater in deep sea. The site shortened the Caisson construction period by 7 months compared to the scheduled completion period.

The Singaporean TTP1 site is in charge of phase 2 construction that involves building 20 berths (20 million TEU) among the 4-phase super-large port construction projects to construct 66 berths, where ships can be anchored at the 1,400ha* site targeting 65 million TEU* annually. The project kicked off in February 2015, and it is slated to be completed in December 2020. The current construction process rate is about 70%.
