The completion ceremony of the Philippines’ Pagbilao 420MW CFPP Unit 3 project was held in the Pagbilao site located in Quezon Province on May 31. Attending the event were the Philippine President, Philippine Secretary of Energy, Marubeni CEO (client), Tokyo Electric Power CEO, Daelim Plant Business Division Manager Lim Hun-jae, and Managing Director Lim Gwan-moo. President Rodrigo Duterte offered his congratulations, noting how the facilities will “supply more energy to the Philippines and play a pivotal role in creating local jobs.”
Pagbilao 420MW CFPP Unit 3 Project
The project involved expanding a 420MW power plant to the existing coal-fired power plant located in Pagbilao, Philippines. The project commenced in December 2014, and the first commercial operation started in February this year. The power plant is currently supplying electric power.
