Daelim Completes Installation of 88m Tower at Lotte H-NC3 Revamping Site

The Lotte H-NC3 Revamping Site completed the installation of the 88m high E-DA3407 Tower, which had been rated as one of the most difficult processes. The tower has height of 88m and weight of 737 tons. Since construction has been carried out in the small site particularly in the operating factory site, the tower was divided into 3 parts and transported. The parts were welded for installation while fixed with a crane.

This project seeks to increase annual ethylene output from 1.03 million tons to 1.23 million tons of the naphtha cracking facility of Lotte Chemical Yeosu Plant 1. The project kicked off in April 2017, and it is slated to be completed in October 2018.
