Daelim was selected as the preferred bidder of the Housing REITs Package Project of Paju Woonjeong A27BL and Gimpo Masong B6BL ordered by Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) on April 3. The Housing REITs Project seeks to develop LH’s unsold housing sites under the initiative of construction companies, secure construction cost, and receive incentives. LH purchases and uses any unsold housing units as public rental housing units.

The Paju Woonjeong 3 District A27BL project involves building 1,010 APT units with 1 floor underground and 20 floors aboveground in the Paju Woonjeong New Town District 3 A27 Block in Gyeonggi Province. On the other hand, the Gimpo Masong B6BL project involves building 574 APT units with 1 floor underground and 15 floors aboveground in Gimpo Masong Housing District B6 Block in Gyeonggi Province. The contract amounts are KRW 174.0 billion and KRW 105.0 billion, respectively, and the total contract amount is KRW 279.0 billion (VAT-exclusive). Each project is set to commence in January 2019, and construction of each is expected to last for 24 months.
