Concluded an EPC contract for the Saudi Chlor Vinyl Project

Our plant business division concluded an EPC (engineering, procurement & construction) contract for the Saudi Chlor Vinyl project at Jubail Sahara Office on May 21. This project had been implemented through an early works (prior construction before the EPC contract) contract on March 3, 2010, which converted to an EPC contract effective May 3, 2011.

This EPC lump-sum turnkey project will be continued for 33 months until December 2, 2012.
This project with a total production capacity of 250 thousand tons of caustic soda and 300 thousand tons of chlor ethylene was ordered by Arabian Chlor Vinyl Company, a joint venture of Sahara (50%) and Ma'aden (50%), which will be established in the petrochemical complex of Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.
