Received an order for the No.4 AN Project from Dongsuh Petrochemical Corp.
The Plant Business Division received an order for the No.4 AN Project from Dongsuh Petrochemical Corp. on December 24, 2010. Japan’s Asahi Kasei owns Dongsuh Petrochemical Corp. 100 percent. The order is a plant EPC turn-key project to annually produce 200,000 tons of acrylonitrile, a material for ABS, synthetic textiles and rubber. The construction site is located in the Ulsan Petrochemical Complex. The project will run for 24 months and its mechanical completion is slated for December, 2012. The Construction Business Division successfully finished the No.3 AN Project in February, 2003. By carrying out the No.4. AN Project, the division will have an edge in receiving AN Projects from overseas countries.
