Celebrate the completion of the Gunsan Complex Thermal Power Plant
A ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Gunsan Complex Thermal Power Plant was held in Gyeongam-dong, Gunsan of North Jeolla Province with the participation of President Kim Yun, Executive Director Han Gyeong-Su, Construction Site Manager Choi Seong-Tae, executives of Samsung Corp., employees of other related organizations and about 200 local residents on September 7, 2010.President Kim and Construction Site Manager Choi received an appreciation plaque and a presidential medal, respectively. The construction of the power plant began in June, 2007 and was successfully finished on May 31, 2010 despite tough conditions such as permission problems, change in engineering methods, a sharp rise in material and payroll costs and delay of the blue print and materials. At the moment, the company is conducting additional sub-projects such as an indoor tennis court.
