On June 29, 2010, a consortium of Daelim and Hitachi was selected as the first negotiable bidder for boilers and ancillary equipment at units 9 and 10 of the Dangjin Power Plant, an order placed by Korea East-West Power. This achievement represents an opportunity for Daelim to participate in the construction of boilers for the nation's largest coal-fired power plant.
This construction project includes two boilers for units 9 and 10 of the Dangjin Power Plant, with a power generation capacity of 1,000 MW each. Its delivery stage will start with the installation of primary equipment in October 2011, with the final stage ending in November 2015.
