Launching ceremony of ‘SMART ECO e-Pyunhan Sesang’ was held in Daelim Housing Cultural Center on 2 April. President Jong-In Kim, head of Building & Housing Division Byung-Chan Lee, executives and staffs of the division and a press corps were attended the ceremony, and checked the performances of Daelim’s unique eco-friendly low energy building technologies. Daelim had proclaimed a vision for realizing the eco-friendly low energy consumption apartment in 2008.
At the ceremony, Daelim announced that it would introduce ‘SMART ECO e-Pyunhan Sesang’ model which boasts Korea’s best intelligent eco-friendly and low energy house technologies for all extended type apartments to start the business application since April 2010 including Gwanggyo e-Pyunhan Sesang. And a basic model and core technologies were released to the public.
The ‘SMART ECO e-Pyunhan Sesang’ will reduce energy consumption for air conditioning and heating by maximum 50% in case of standard housing model which was revised in January 2008. A lot of intelligent systems for energy-saving will be also applied. Particularly, ‘SMART ECO e-Pyunhan Sesang’ is Korea’s first apartment model that fully meets the Green Home 25 Standard regulated by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, which is recognized as a new milestone of the Green Home era.
