Held the Signing Ceremony for the Chlor Vinyl Project

The signing ceremony for the Chlor Vinyl Project that the company had applied the LOI (Letter of Intent) on December 22 in last year was held at Sahara Office in Jubayl on March 3. The chairman and the president of Sahara, the owner of this project, and executives of Ma'aden were attended the ceremony. Charles Y. Kim, our president, Yun-Sup Kim and Jae-young Kwon, our managing directors, and Sung-In Kim, the head of branch office, were also with them.
This project was ordered by the Arabian Chlor Vinyl Company, a joint venture between Sahara (50%) and Ma'aden (50%), and will be continued for 31 months. This project takes effect with the signing and will be upgraded to a formal contract by implementing early works for 9 months.
