Completed the Construction of GMIS (Global Market Intelligence System) at Chorus

GMIS (Global Market Intelligence System) which enables real-time reference and utilization of the price trends and the forecast report of movement in price of international commodities and domestic construction materials was built at Chorus on February 17.
Commodity price trends provided by main analysis organization abroad through internet or media was regularly used as basic data for grasping the trends, bidding and securing cost competitiveness of planned projects all the while; however, the data have shortcoming of lack of objectiveness and expertise. Newly introduced GMIS is expected to overcome these problems and to contribute to improvement of cost competitiveness of Daelim.
GMIS covers price trends of 95 items in international commodities and 102 items in domestic construction materials. It also provides outlook reports on non-ferrous metals and steel as well as forecast information. A seminar regarding GMIS construction is scheduled at Susong-dong and Yeouido company office building.
