Business Strategy Committee was held on January 15, 2010. This year’s committee was especially proceeded by on-line, not like other years, with the participation of executives and staffs in all domestic and overseas construction fields and Head Quarter. Four hours of Business Strategy Committee was conducted from 2 pm to 6 pm through on-line instead of usual assembly of an external event form, in order to implement Green Vision which was declared domestically and externally in commemoration of 70-years anniversary of company founding as well as to induce employees to recognize and build consensus on implementing the vision.
Kim Jong-In, CEO of Daelim Group, stated the direction of strategy in 2010, that is Marketing Driven Change following the strategy that the company will be completely run clients and market-oriented in 2010.
Marketing Driven Change represents the CEO’s intention to continuously occupy competitive advantages in market by responding preemptively to market changes and developing profound insights to market. With that, Kim presented the tasks such as improving business competitiveness, enhancing market responsiveness and revamping organization and personnel; moreover, he urged employees to participate the changes and innovation of high intensity.
Kim defined the year 2010 as “the time that requires changes and innovation of Daelim’s thought and customs by drastically breaking out from the convention in order to swiftly and wisely cope with the rapidly changing business environment,” and he addressed to employees that “let’s focus our capacity on preemptively providing products and services of clients’ and market’s needs. For this, we need to anticipate the changing trends of market, system, policy, products and services in the future.”
