70th Founding Anniversary Was Held On-line
Korea’s first on-line commemorative event on October 9 for celebrating our 70th founding anniversary was greeted enthusiastically by our employees. The commemorative website includes major three themes of 70-year history of Daelim, newly proclaimed green management and open forum for employees and executives.
The 70th founding anniversary was held on-line to encourage green management and draw employees’ understanding and sympathy for green management. As a result, our new experiment was a great success. Because it contributed to not only reduce the emission of carbon dioxide at the outdoor event but create more opportunities to communicate each other. All of our employees at home and abroad were able to communicate through the website, which was a good opportunity to inform our green management and advanced information technology skills.
The commemorative event started with the congratulatory address of Joon Y. Lee, Honorary Chairman, and Yong-Koo Lee, Chairman, and the proclamation of green management by Jong-In Kim, our CEO, at 9 am. And some video messages followed: CEOs of the industry including Sang-Dae Lee, Vice Chairman of Samsung C&T Corporation, Joong-Kyum Kim, President of Hyundai Construction and Bum-Shick Chong, President of Honam Petrochemical Corporation and clients in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait. Also, UCCs made by employees, celebration film and historical pictures were shown through the website and employees exchanged their opinions and replies through twitters.
