Won the Bid for the Extension Project of Busan Station

Daelim has made a successful bid for the extension work of Busan Station, which was placed in Feb. 6. The extension work is part of the Gyeongbu high-speed railway construction plan which is designed to shrink the entire nation into half-day zone and ensure a balanced national growth. It is the second time for Daelim to win a bid for a construction project related to Gyeongbu high-speed railway. The previous project was the construction of the Busan train depot in 2004.
The new extension is to build waiting areas (10,259m2) and roofs (4,224m2) over the existing platforms of the station as well as an additional parking lot (7,710m2). The construction will be finished before the station resumes operation in Nov. 30, 2010. The total construction cost amounts to about KRW36.2 billion including value-added tax (VAT)
