Daelim received an order for the construction of residual fluidized catalytic cracking (RFCC) facilities from Hyundai Oilbank in Korea. On October 24, Daelim received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the project. Daelim will execute engineering, procurement management, construction and commissioning.
This project involves the construction of RFCC facilities to handle residues with a total of 52,000 barrels, offsite and the expansion of existing facilities, as a part of #2 Heavy Oil Upgrading projects of Hyundai Oilbank. These new facilities, to be completed in February 2011, will contribute to upgrading residues at Daesan Plant of Hyundai Oilbank into value-added products such as gasoline and light oil.
