Daelim to win Refinery Project of Philippines
The PETRON CORP., Philippines awarded its refinery upgrading plant project to Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd. on February 1, 2006. According to the terms of the award, Daelim will be responsible for building the plant with a modification of existing refinery plant including conversion of TCCU to FCC for producing 140,000 tons per year of propylene. The cost to complete the project, within 23 months, is about U$180 Million.
