DL E&C conducts creative convergence education for children in Yangcheon-gu.

DL E&C announced on the 22nd that it conducted a creative convergence education program for students at Yangdong Elementary School in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul in cooperation with the Gangseo Yangcheon District Office of Education. The program was designed to encourage children to express their own preferences and ideas within the space of a “home” in order to develop their creativity and artistic sensibility.
The education was based on “Visiting Kids Workroom: Collector’s House”, a program linked to D Museum’s ongoing exhibition, “A Tasteful House 2: Art in Life, Life in Art 2, presented by the Daelim Cultural Foundation. It was planned to provide cultural and artistic experience opportunities to children in Yangcheon-gu and help them develop their imagination and expressiveness through diverse artistic experiences.
Students appreciated various artworks, explored their favorite colors, shapes, and methods of expression, and participated in an activity where they became space designers to decorate their own “Collector’s House”. After reviewing artworks from their textbooks as well as exhibition pieces, they used creative kits to design and express their spaces, and also shared their completed works with one another. They gained a new understanding of space, viewing a home not just as a place to stay, but as a venue that contains their personal tastes and stories.
DL E&C has been continuously pursuing social contribution activities to nurture future talent and expand educational opportunities. Since 2022, the Company has operated creative convergence education programs for elementary school students in Jongno-gu. This year, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for creative arts education and social contributions with Gangseo-gu, the Company is conducting related programs in Yancheon-gu, and expanding its educational support activities as well. Moving forward, DL E&C plans to cooperate with local communities to support children and youth in experiencing a wide range of educational and cultural programs.
An official from DL E&C said, “It was a meaningful opportunity for children to boost their creativity and confidence, while expressing their own thoughts and tastes within the space of a home. We will continue to expand our educational programs and social contribution activities to provide diverse experiences in cooperation with local communities.”
