DL E&C is expanding its educational support to connect future generations with the local community. On the 8th, DL E&C signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Gangseo-gu, Seoul, in relation to social contribution activities in creative arts education. The signing ceremony, held at the Gangseo-gu Office, was attended by the head of Gangseo-gu Office, Jin Gyo-Hoon, and CEO of DL E&C, Park Sang-Shin.
This MOU aims to provide programs for creative arts education to youth in Gangseo-gu area in order to foster future talent and to contribute to the mutual development of the local community. DL E&C plans to operate the educational programs using its human and material resources, while Gangseo-gu will provide administrative assistance to facilitate the participation of local students.
This activity is being carried out as part of DL Group’s social contribution initiatives. DL Group continues its ongoing social contribution activities across various fields, including improving local residential environments, spreading a safety culture through safety education, supporting culture and arts education, and conducting environmental cleanup activities.
Since 2022, DL E&C has been operating creative convergence education programs for elementary school students in the Jongno-gu area to continuously support local community education, and is gradually expanding its culture and arts education projects every year. This year, the Company signed an agreement with the Gangseo-gu Office, where its head office located, and plans to support educational programs for all grades at Jeonggok Elementary School during the first half of the year.
The educational program is redesigned annually to align with the Daelim Cultural Foundation’s exhibition-related initiatives. This year, through “The Visiting Kids’ Workroom: The Collector’s House,” the program offers students the opportunity to explore and discover their own tastes and express them through the space of a home. Through this, the program aims to help students understand how art naturally connects with daily life and to support them in engaging with art in a more approachable way.
A DL E&C official said, “Through this MOU, we plan to continuously expand our educational social contribution activities so that the local community and future generations can grow together. We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities that connect with the local community.”
