DL E&C announced on the 15th that it is continuously expanding its “D-Virtual” service, which allows users to view house floor plans and optional products in real time within a virtual space, and is currently applying it to its presales sites.

D-Virtual is a real-time virtual simulation (VR) solution developed and introduced by DL E&C for the first time in the domestic construction industry in 2022. Previously, prospective house buyers were unable to directly view any options and types other than those displayed in the housing exhibition hall. However, D-Virtual enables the prospective house buyers to view not only floor plans that haven’t been physically constructed yet but also a wide range of optional features in real time, helping them better understand their choices.

DL E&C is currently introducing D-Virtual to presale sites for its housing brands “Acro” and “e-Pyeonhansesang”. Initially, the service was provided, focusing on 6 floor plans and 30 options. Recently, the service has expanded to about 20 floor plans and over 60 options.

Going a step further, DL E&C plans to broaden the service at the “Acro de Seocho” – scheduled for sale next month in Seoch, Seoul -, offering more than 100 floor plans, three interior styles and over sixty options. Offering far more choices than before, it is expected to greatly enhance customer satisfaction.

‘D-Virtual’ service has already won an innovation award at ‘Smart Construction Challenge’ hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. DL E&C continues to spearhead technological innovation throughout the construction process, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI), building information modeling (BIM), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), internet of things (IoT) and drones.

An official from DL E&C said, “Based on our industry-leading smart construction technology, we are offering a variety of services to enhance customer satisfaction. Feedback from customers who have experienced D-Virtual at actual presale sites has been extremely positive. We will continue to strengthen our knowhow and innovative technological capabilities.”
