Daelim Holds Geumjeong Tunnel Penetration Ceremony

The Busan Beltway section 9 construction site held a penetration ceremony of Geumjeong Tunnel on November 2. Daelim Senior Executive Kim Won-geun, Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC) Project Head Seo Mu-won, and others attended the ceremony to celebrate the penetration.

Starting part of Geumjeong Tunnel

The Busan Beltway construction project involves constructing a 48.8km expressway from Gimhae to Yangsan to Busan. Daelim is in charge of building 7.14km of Geumjeong Tunnel as well as a four-lane expressway from Geumgok-dong, Buk-gu to Nopo-dong, Geumjeong-gu, Busan. Construction was started in November 2011 and is slated to be completed in December 2017.
