Daelim’s Saudi Arabia SAMAPCO CA/EDC Project Achieves Mechanical Completion
Daelim’s Saudi Arabia SAMAPCO CA/EDC site received a certificate from the client for achieving mechanical completion on April 16, 2013. The project was completed without any accident for some 3 years since its commencement of construction work in March 2010. This means that Daelim’s project performance capability was recognized by the client.The completed plant will produce chlorine through the electrolysis process and EDC – which becomes the raw material of PVC – using the produced chlorine. Harbor construction, which is being carried out together with the construction of the CA/EDC plant, is scheduled to be completed in September 2013.
