To reach its management goals that prioritize safety, DL E&C announced on the 14th that it held the “Declaration Ceremony of the First Year of Zero Serious Disasters” in the main office located at the D-Tower, Doneuimoon, Jongnno-gu, Seoul. The ceremony was joined by Mr. Gilpo Lee, the CSO, other executives from safety and health-related departments, team leaders, site managers, construction managers, safety and health managers, etc.
To reach the goal of ‘Zero Serious Disasters in 2025,’ DL E&C set detailed objectives such as △an organization that works and feeds back in accordance with the manual, △absolute prohibition of any unplanned or unauthorized work activities, △ strengthening safety activities of suppliers and workers, etc. With these measures as the basis, the company decided to focus on improving its safety management practices at each site, including establishing detailed and intensified safety management implementation plans for each site, holding site-level safety seminars, and more.

Also, DL E&C plans to introduce various safety-related systems in connection with the smart safety management platform, including CCTVs, bodycams, safety pagers that track down the real-time location of workers, and AI translation systems to improve communication with foreign workers.
CSO Gilpo Lee said during that ceremony that “Zero Serious Disaster is our undisputed priority and cannot be achieved if any of us fails to work on it, be it our employees or those of our suppliers and contractors.” He added, “We have to see through ‘what we started’ and will definitely meet the safety goals of 2025.”
