DL E&C was selected as the preferred bidder for ‘Gwangmyeong-Siheung Public Housing Project with Private Participation’ worth KRW812 billion.

DL E&C announced on the 25th that it has been selected as the preferred bidder for ‘Gwangmyeong-Siheung Public Housing Project with Private Participation’ worth KRW812 billion. The client is the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (“LH”). DL E&C formed a consortium with Gyeryong Construction Industrial to participate in the project. DL E&C, as the lead company, holds a 55% stake in the project (KRW446.6 billion).
 
This project involves constructing 2,716 apartment units and ancillary welfare facilities that consist of 19 buildings, ranging from 2 basement levels to 29 stories above ground in blocks S1-10 and B1-3 of Gwangmyeong-Siheung located at Nohonsa-dong, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do (3rd generation new town in Gwangmyeong-Siheung District). Block S1-10 will offer 1,568 units (exclusive area of 59 and 84m2) as “general type of New Home”, while Block B1-3 will offer 1,148 units (exclusive area of 84 m2) as “sharing type of New Home”. The construction period is 36 months from the start of construction.
