We create sustainable social values based on social contribution strategies linked to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the social contribution vision of “a partner growing with the local community, ” we are carrying out five key activities and spreading the value of sharing by providing community-based social contribution programs.

Sharing HappinessTo improve the residential environment for low-income families

Sharing Happiness is a project to improve residential facilities for the underprivileged suffering from aging settlements. Through the “Home Repair for Hope” activity in collaboration with the Seoul branch of Habitat for Humanity Korea, we improve residential conditions for old housing clusters and welfare organization facilities in Seoul and the metropolitan area by utilizing the skills and know-how of our employees in the construction industry.

Sharing LoveEmployee volunteer activities with the local community

We provide necessary items and facilities for orphanages, nursing homes, and senior citizens living alone. In particular, we provide various life support for the underprivileged in the community, such as making bread for the underprivileged. Also, We carried out making sleepwear vests that help infants and toddlers control their body temperature to prevent pneumonia and delivered them to single mother families in the community.

Sharing CultureExpand cultural engagement opportunities for communities through the arts

We collaborate with the Daelim Cultural Foundation to carry out various social contribution activities using culture as a medium. through the medium of culture. We are expanding cultural experience opportunities for local communities through exhibitions and various educational programs to discover the value of art in everyday life. ‘Happy Together’ and ‘Creative Convergence Education’, which are educational programs to promote creativity among low-income and local children.

Sharing NatureEnvironmental protection activities to preserve the natural ecosystem

We run environmental protection campaigns and cleanup activities to enhance the environmental awareness of employees and participants. We run the “One Mountain, One River, One Street” campaign, an environmental cleanup activity for local communities at about 250 sites nationwide.
Each year, DL E&C employees visited the Yeouido Saetgang Ecological Park to help protect the otter habitat and preserve the natural ecosystem in urban areas.

Sharing HopeEducational support through safety experience, symposium sponsorship, etc.

We are committed to contributing to the development of our society as a corporate citizen through the Sharing Hope campaign where we support education, schools, and academics. We maintain close partnerships with universities and associations across the country and provide educational programs at the Safety Experience Center to raise awareness of safety and knowledge we need in our daily lives such as emergency response, CPR, and how to use descending lifelines.
