DL E&C will utilize the carbon neutrality trend as a new growth engine opportunity and continue to promote its transformation into an eco-friendly company. Each business division, housing, civil engineering, and plant, has designated eco-friendly strategies as a core part of their growth plans. They aim to expand their portfolio of eco-friendly new businesses, including the development of zero-energy buildings, expansion of eco-friendly transportation and environmental infrastructure, and engagement in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) as well as bioenergy generation business. We have set a goal of KRW 2.5 trillion in sales from eco-friendly businesses and KRW 4.2 billion in clean technology investment by 2024, and will continue to increase the sales proportion from sustainable products until 2030.

Eco-friendly technology development
As the international community's awareness and importance of eco-friendliness is increasing, the ability to respond to climate change is required not only in the construction industry but also in all industries. Accordingly, global companies are making various efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions such as energy saving in the building sector. DL E&C has been promoting the development of various eco-friendly technologies to meet the needs of consumers for a pleasant living environment and roadmap for mandatory zero-energy construction by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. In addition, we are continuously expanding high-efficiency and eco-friendly designs with the goal of realizing 100% zero-energy-saving housing.
