DL E&C has established internal guidelines to cope with high-concentration fine dust, and it actively participates in implementing emergency actions to reduce fine dust when actions are taken, operates wheel-washing facilities and road sprinklers, and works with rollers in the case of outdoor painting to mitigate scattered dust during construction.

Noise and Vibration Management

In downtown construction, we strictly comply with noise and vibration regulation standards, including the application of eco-friendly construction methods, installation of noise and vibration prevention facilities, and making the noise and vibration measurement results public, as well as the application of eco-friendly construction method and installation of noise prevention facilities. Especially through the 3D noise simulation program, we analyze the surrounding noise effect and establish and implement the noise reduction plan.

Waste Management

DL E&C places high priority on the waste reduction plan for the research on new materials and new construction methods. We recycle construction site waste and lead resource conservation. We also input the status of waste discharge into our computerization system in real time and manage it in linkage with the government’s waste management system.

Water management

We treat the foul/turbid water and waste water generated during the construction in line with water quality standards so that it does not affect the surrounding rivers or public sewage. We are doing our best for water conservation including rainfall storage facility installation to enable reuse as construction water within construction sites.

Implementation of Voluntary Agreement for Fine Dust Reduction

DL E&C signed a voluntary agreement with the Ministry of Environment on November 29, 2016 for the formation of a bond of sympathy on social problems due to fine dust, and it has been making efforts to reduce fine dust. The construction sites generating scattered dust establish scattered dust reduction plans depending on each site’s characteristics, doing their utmost to mitigate fine dust by cleaning the neighboring road, installing a wind speed gauge, installing and operating a fine dust gauge, paving temporary roads, and using a dust inhibitor and complying with the legal obligations.
