Appreciation plaque awarded

Although there were difficulties of work suspension due to receivership of co-representative construction company STX Heavy Industries, Daelim resumed construction work in December 2016, leading and completing the project. Thus, the client awarded Daelim a plaque of appreciation.

Bukpyeong Thermal Power Plant is to build a 1,190MW (595MW x 2 units) coal-fired thermal power plant in Bukpyeong National Industrial Complex in Donghae City, Gangwon Province. As the largest privately funded power plant in Korea with state-of-the-art technology, it ranked number 1 in terms of the unit price of power generation of the generator (excluding nuclear power plant) in 2018. The power plant is expected to enhance the technological prowess of Korea’s thermal power plant. All constructions are slated to be completed in October 2018 when the 2nd performance test of the unit 2 environmental facility (desulfurization and electric precipitator) is completed.
