DL E&C announced on the 9th that it has obtained the construction right for a city reorganization project this 2023. Total construction cost is KRW 315.1 billion, and DL E&C will construct the complex alone.
The Gangbuk District 5 Resident Representatives Council finally selected DL E&C
as the construction company at the general assembly held on the 7th to select a construction company. The district is scheduled to be transformed into 688 APT units in 3 buildings (6 floors underground, 48 floors aboveground) through the redevelopment. DL E&C aims to kick off the project in the first half of 2026.
Gangbuk District 5 is located at 61-79, Mia-dong, Gangbuk-gu and is very near Mia Sageori Station (subway). The district has an excellent school environment including Younghoon High School as well as daily life infrastructure, such as department stores and large-scale marts. The district was chosen as a pilot project district for public redevelopment in January 2021, and the project progress is being accelerated thanks to deregulation such as increase in floor space index.
DL E&C bagged city reorganization orders worth KRW 4.8943 trillion in all last year, which is a record high based on annual amount. The company has ensured the smooth progress of the city reorganization business by winning the project on the first weekend of this year. DL E&C plans to perform vigorous order-winning activities based on top-class brand power and financial stability in the construction industry.
“Gangbuk District 5 is an excellent station district and school district with convenience facilities, and we will make it a landmark representing Northwestern Seoul. We will aggressively secure major city reorganization projects based on the brand power of Acro, E-Pyunhan Sesang and robust financial structure, and funding power this year as well,” an official of DL E&C said.
