DL E&C announced on December 7 that it will adopt the DI Home platform, an intelligent APT solution. The platform was developed by Daelim Corporation, which possesses service technology specializing in construction IT.
Various smart solutions are provided for APT quality control including test run inspection, energy management, and defect/defect rate management. DL E&C is expanding digital innovative technologies throughout the construction industry including the DI Home platform. Through this, DL E&C plans to improve quality and productivity.
The DI Home platform has functions specialized for the test run, quality control, and security of APT complexes. Concerning the existing APT complex test run, inspectors had to visit each household and inspect lighting, cooling & heating, and closing/opening status of windows.
However the DI Home platform can test various functions remotely through mobile devices and PCs. Thus, proper actions can be taken by analyzing various defects through energy use amount and air quality monitoring.
Entry by household can be systematically managed through a smart household entry solution. The DI Home platform can make authorized workers come and go at the allowed time by awarding the household entry right through the worker’s smartphone app. Specifically, unnecessary household entry can be controlled by thoroughly controlling entry authentication and history.
The DI Home platform supports security service to prevent home network hacking, concerns for which have been intensifying recently.
The DI Home platform has strengthened the wireless communication security of wall pad and door lock within the household, and total authentication security solution is provided through access control, communications packet encoding, and thorough app security through second-phase authentication solution.
DL E&C has been preventing hacking damage by inspecting the security function of the wall pad product in 2017, and it will consolidate home networking security further through the adoption of the DI Home platform.
