DL E&C Acquires ISO-37001 Certification for Anti-Bribery Management Systems

The awarding ceremony of ISO 37001 certification, an international standard for anti-bribery management systems, was held at the D Tower company building of DL E&C located in Donuimun, Jong-ro, Seoul. DL Group Vice Chairman Bae Won-bok and Korean Standards Association Chairman Kang Myung-soo attended the awarding ceremony. ISO 37001 was established in 2016 as an international standard certification awarded by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) by comprehensively evaluating whether companies have proper and effective management systems conforming to international standards to prevent corruption.
DL E&C set up a TF organization in January this year for the certification and appointed an operation manager to oversee the anti-bribery management systems throughout all business areas. To build trust among global customers as a developer, DL E&C devoted all its energy to reconstructing the existing ethical management system to fit the international standard.
The company already declared the global ethical management in 2019. As demand for firms’ ethical management is on the rise globally through anti-bribery conventions and international norms, DL E&C declared the ethical management to lay the foundation for sustainable growth so as to compete in the global market based on each employee’s internalization of ethical management. DL E&C is complying with the ethics charter, code of ethics, and guidelines for practice, operating the cyber Shinmungo and fair trade autonomous compliance program, and strictly practicing ethical management.
“Taking off as a global developer through ESG management, DL E&C has laid a solid foundation for building international trust through the certification. We will expand the ISO 37001 for transparent ethical management to have it take root throughout our group starting at DL E&C,” DL Group Vice Chairman Bae Won-bok explained.
