DL E&C Selected as Construction Company for Woodong District 1 Reconstruction

DL E&C won the first urban redevelopment project this year. Launched this year, the company was selected as the construction company for the reconstruction project for Woodong District 1 (Samho Garden) in Haeundae-gu, Busan, which has been considered a key and jackpot project in the Busan reconstruction market. In the general assembly held on the 27th to select the construction company, DL E&C succeeded in bagging the project, securing an overwhelming 808 votes in favor of the company out of the 896 current association members.

Woodong District 1 has been regarded as an outpost in the redevelopment projects in Haeundae-gu as well as in the Busan region. As the venue for the largest-scale redevelopment near Centum City, Busan’s representative rich village, the area has emerged as a landmark and a major transportation point.

The Woodong District 1 reconstruction project involves building an apartment complex as well as auxiliary facilities with 14 buildings having 3 floors underground and 28 floors aboveground and a total of 1,481 units by injecting KRW 550 billion (based on DL E&C’s bidding price). Especially DL E&C’s high-end brand ACRO will be applied to the non-Seoul Metropolitan Area for the first time. The complex’s name is ACRO One Hyde. The association members expressed expectations on the ACRO brand, a representative symbol of high-end residence.

DL E&C proposed the complex design, which maximizes the premium view for ACRO One Hyde, unique appearance design, and supreme community. The best residential design including the prime facade design, diverse types of terrace houses, and large-scale landscaping and special design through which the complex can position itself as a new landmark in Haeundae was applied. The company suggested setting up a sky lounge on the top floor of the “triple landmark tower” to be built in front of the complex as well as differentiated community such as private spa, water park, fitness & private PT room, and indoor golf club in a split level type.
