Yeosu No. 2 Complex L Project Site Completes Power Energizing

Construction site where Daelim performs the processes

The Yeosu No. 2 Complex L Project site successfully completed power energizing of 22.9kV~220V at the MCC Room (Motor Control Center) for 3 days from Jul. 20 until Jul. 22. Power energizing means to pressurize electricity supplied by KEPCO to the electric supply system installed within the motor control center, and electricity supply per structure will be possible after completing cable burial externally. The achievement of power energizing process was completed more than 15 days ahead of competitors (GS E&C and LG S&I) carrying out construction together within the complex.
The Yeosu No. 2 Complex L Project site is a petrochemical site building a plant producing 600,000 tons of polyethylene by constructing two trains that can produce 300,000 tons of polyethylene (LLDPE/HDPE) at the Yeosu Industrial Complex LG Chem site. Carried out by Daelim and LG Chem, the project is the first project adopting cost plus free contract type, and all processes including design/purchase/construction and pre-test run will be performed. As of Dec. 14, 2018 after contracting, the process completion rate was 82%, and the project is slated to be completed in Nov. 2020 and Jan. 2021.
