Daelim’s Construction Business Division won the Bupyeong Sibjeong District 5 Redevelopment Project on July 11. The KRW 166.7 billion (Daelim’s stake: 40%, VAT exclusive) contract is a public-supporting private-rental connected maintenance project, and Daelim, GS&EC, and Doosan ENC formed a consortium for the project. The project involves building 2,217 apartment units in 23 buildings with 3 floors underground and 33 floors aboveground at 460-22, Sibjeong-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon. Construction is expected to take 32 months, and it is slated to kick off in November 2022 and will be completed in July 2025. As the project was designed for the long-term, competition was so fierce that 16 companies participated in the bid. Daelim actively induced the housing association members’ participation in general meetings through its own customer-friendly management system. With its experience in building e-Pyunhan Sesang Dohwa, a public-supporting private-rental connected maintenance project in Incheon, Daelim was chosen as the construction company thanks to the overwhelming support of the association members based on Daelim’s brand and the association members’ trust after the final competition with Hanwha ENC.
