Daelim’s Construction Business Division bagged the Daejeon Samseong District 1 Redevelopment Project on July 11. As an entrusted maintenance project that enables stable construction performance money collection, the project involves constructing 1,612 apartment units and 210 studio apartment units in 6 buildings (4 floors underground, 49 floors aboveground) at 279, Samseong-dong, Daejeon. The contract amount is KRW 217.3 billion (Daelim’s stake: 55%, VAT- exclusive) and construction is expected to take 41 months, slated to kick off in February 2023 and to be completed in June 2026. This project is a milestone thanks to optimal business conditions and design proposal by analyzing the housing association members’ needs for 8 months in advance as well as continuous cooperation and mutual support with the association, based on the Daelim brand’s premium and local-friendly marketing. Daelim succeeded in winning the project through the association members’ overwhelming support, gaining 241 out of a total of 287 votes in the competition with Kolon Global.
