Daelim’s Construction Business Division won the Busan Dangri District 1 Housing Reconstruction Project on July 18. The project involves constructing 446 units in 7 apartment buildings with 3 floors underground and 25 floors aboveground and a supplementary welfare facility complex at 237-2, Dangri-dong, Saha-gu, Busan. Daelim will be the sole implementer of the KRW 90.3 billion (VAT-exclusive) project. Construction is expected to take 28 months and is slated to start in June 2022 and will be completed in September 2024. Despite the geographical advantage of the hub in the West Busan region, there were various difficulties including the nullification of bidding and failure in bidding in the construction company selection process. Nonetheless, Daelim gained the support and trust of the existing housing association members based on the plan design reflecting the e-Pyunhan Sesang 2.0/C2HOUSE, which sharply improved the existing association’s design proposal. Participating alone in the private contract bid, Daelim succeeded in winning the contract after defeating its competitor.
