DL E&C announced the excellent construction sites and winners of the Han Soop person prize and achievement awards, provided a virtual congratulatory space, and carried out contactless social contribution activities on the occasion of the company’s 82nd anniversary. The excellent construction sites and winners of the Han Soop person prize and achievement awards were as follows: 1 best site, 15 excellent sites and excellent quality and environment sites, 1 recipient of the Han Soop person prize, and 43 achievement award recipients. The prize awarding is in progress by division. On October 14 and 15, the virtual DL Tower was built using Gather Town, an online metaverse platform, so that all employees working in domestic and foreign sites and working at home can celebrate the anniversary and communicate with one another. The town was designed for them to set their own avatars in virtual space, move freely, and communicate with each other.
The following have also been held: viewing interview video clips of the employees deemed to be contributing to the company; leaving congratulatory messages, and taking photographs on the anniversary commemorative photo wall. People can also enjoy a real-time true or false quiz related to the company history and performance, the parody game “Mugunghwa has bloomed” based on a popular drama series, best dresser, and two line poem events. The employees plan to participate in making fairy tale books to be delivered to underprivileged children who suffer from difficulties due to COVID-19 at home and “eco-bag painting” activity to present gifts to children in developing countries.
